YOGYAKARTA – SOLO TOUR
Day 01: Arrival Jogja – Transfer in – Ramayana Ballet show ( D)
On arrival at Adisucipto Airport of Yogyakarta City, meeting service by your guide. Then, direct transfer to the hotel to your choice, check in and preparation for a night show of Ramayana Ballet. At 06.30 pm, picking up by your guide at the lobby and heading up to Prambanan Temple for watching the show. Upon arrival at the location, having your dinner at the Restaurant. After dinner, watching the Ramayana Ballet. Ramayan Ballet is a drama telling about the story of Ramayana and Shinta taken from the Hindu epics. This drama is performed in form of dance by hundreds of Javanese dancers. It is so wonderful (The story has been long imprinted on the Prambanan Reliefs) . After the unforgettable performance, returning back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Prambanan Temple – Yogyakarta Countryside Tour – Batik Course (B – L)
(Having watched the Ramayana Ballet show last night, today you will continue to have direct story of the epics on the Prambanan temple’s reliefs). After breakfast at hotel, your guide will meet you at the lobby for other tours. Firstly, you will head up to the eastern part of the city, to Prambanan Temple, a highly popular Hindu Temple in Indonesia of 47 m high. Tour to this temple will get you to trace back to the era of Hindu glorious era in Java. Afterwards, back into the city, and your tour continues to Kraton (the Royal Palace), one of the most powerful symbol of the Javanese culture recently. As part of this tour, you will also visit Taman Sari (the Royal Park), used to be a recreation place of the royal family. Then lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit Kota Gede for visiting silver home industry. Next, visit Wukirsari Village, a village that has long been engaging in preserving the tradition of making batik. It is located at Imogiri sub-district, rather remote from the city. Almost all villagers actively participate in making batik. In this tour, you will also learn how to make batik by your own on the basis of your personal idea or design. It takes two hours for the course. Afterwards, return back to your hotel. Day03: Borobudur Temple – Ketep – Selo Highlands – Tumang Village – Solo – Kepuh Village (B – L)
This time, you will take a longer tour route. After your breakfast at hotel, picking up by your guide at 07.00 am and then proceeding to Borobudur Temple, a very popular Buddhist Temple. After completing your tour at this temple, the trip continues to Solo. The route to take is through Ketep and Selo highlands, where you will view wonderful natural panorama along the road between two mountains, Merbabu and Merapi. At this chance you can satisfy your eagerness about the beauty of the hills and mountains, the plantation and villagers’ activities along the route. And also you have a chance to take pictures as many you want to as possible. Then, short stop at Tumang village, Cepogo Boyolali. This village has long been popular with handy crafts made of bronze, aluminum, and other metal materials. Many kinds of products you will find here. Also, you will watch the making process of the products at the workshop. Afterwards, your trip continues to Solo City passing through Boyolali town. Upon arrival at Solo, lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, tour to Mangkunegaran Palace. Then, and then to desa (village) Wirun. Tour to this village will bring you closer to the knowledge of Gamelan (a music instrument often played in the Javanese songs and dances). You will watch the making process and the products are displayed in a special room. Finally, return to Yogyakarta. Arrival in Yogyakarta, direct transfer to your hotel. Free program
Day04: Transfer out (B)
After breakfast free program. Your guide will pick you up as scheduled and transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination. End of service.
