ZONE
Indonesia applies three time zones, such as west Indonesia, central Indonesia and east Indonesia. West Indonesia time equals GMT+7 covering Sumatra, java, Madura, west Kalimantan and east Kalimantan. Central Indonesia time equals GMT+8 comprising Bali, west Nusa Tenggara, east Nusa Tenggara. east Kalimantan, south Kalimantan and  Sulawesi. East Indonesia time is GMT+9 covering Maluku and Papua.


CURRENCY

PASSPORT
Tourists entering Indonesia are required to hold a tourist passport valid for at least six month as of the date of arrival and round-trip ticket.


VISA

VISA OF ARRIVAL

is issued by the immigration offices at the following airports: Soekarno-Hatta in Jakarta,Ngurah Rai in Bali,Sultan Sharif kasim 11 in Pekanbaru,Minangkabau in Padang,Juanda in Surabaya,Sam Ratulangi in Manado,Polonia in Medan,Sultan Iskandar Muda in Banda Aceh,Hang Nadim in Batam,Sultan Mahmud Badarudin 11 in Palembang,Halim Perdana Kusuma in Jakarta,Husein Sastranegara in Bandung,Adisucipto in Yogyakarta,Ahmad Yani in Semarang,Adisumarno in Surakarta,Sipadio in Pontianak,Sepinggan in Balikpapan,Hasanuddin in Makassar,Bandara Lombok and EL Tari in Kupang.
Visa of Arrival is also issued by the immigration offices at seaports, such as those in: Batam, Sekupang, Citra tritunas, Nongsa,  Marina teluk senimba, Bandar bintan telani lagoi, Bandar Sri Udana Lobam, and tanjung balai karimun in the riau islands,Sri bintan pura port in tanjung Pinang,Belawan and Sibolga ports in North Sumatra,Yos Sudarso port in Riau,Teluk bayur port in Padang,Tanjung priok port in Jakarta,Tanjung mas port in Semarang,Padang bai and Benoa in Bali,Bitung port in North Sulawesi,Soekarna-hatta and Pare Pare ports in South Sulawesi, Maumere and Tenau ports in East Nusa Tenggara and Jaya Pura port in Papua.


FREE TOURIST  VISA(FTV)


Tourist entitled to free short-term tourist visa for 30 days are those originating from 12 countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Hongkong, Macao, Chile, Ecuador, Morocco, and Peru.


IMPORT DUTY


Tourists are allowed to bring duty-free goods into Indonesia, such as: alcoholic drinks of maximum 1 liter,200 cigars or 50 gram tobacco, perfume in reasonable volume per adult, camera, and sports gears.
